Cancun 2009
After a very cold winter in California, my best friend and I decided that we should pass New Year's Eve and welcome
the year 2009 in a place that was both international and warm. Considering budget and location, we settled upon Cancun,
Mexico, known for their white-sanded beaches and night life.
Europe Road Trip 2008
Life changes suddenly and often at inopportune times; one of these changes caused me to cancel my original 2008 plans and
book a trip to Bologna, Italy. I landed in the familiar country with no set plans and ended up taking a road trip through
Italy, Austria, and Germany in a tiny Fiat Panda. The little Diesel took me to the Italian coast to Cinque Terre, through
the mountains and the Stelvio Pass, over to Salzburg, Austria, and up through Germany to the Northern city of Hamburg.
Given the lack of speed limit on most sections of the Autobahn, my little Panda became the Diesel that could keep up in the
fast lane, passing other cars.
India 2008
In January 2008, my company sent me to Bangalore, India with a coworker to train a new team. This photo
album allows one to see Bangalore from my eyes on the Vendor campus. My weekends allowed me time to venture further,
making the trip to the backwaters of Kerala in the South, then up to see the Taj Mahal in the North.
Argentina 2007
In April of 2007, I set off for my journey to South America. This journey took me to the End of the World at the
tip of the continent, delighted me with the exciting cosmopolitan city of Buenos Aires, and allowed me true tranquility inthe
crisp mountain airs of Bariloche. Highlights include meeting fellow female travelers while sailing through the Magellan
Strait, watching tango performed in Buenos Aires, experiencing a true South American football game, and enjoying the famous
Argentine steak.
