I have been both blessed and cursed with never being completely satisfied with the status quo. The sense
of life never being truly complete has lead me to continually seek out new hobbies. It has motivated me to search out
new places to go, with the feeling that there is something more to see in life, more people to meet. It demands that
I experience something new constantly.
I was born and raised in the Bay Area. As a daughter of Taiwanese
immigrants, I started traveling at early ages and was introduced to non-Western countries during my summers spent in Taiwan.
During my first year at UCLA, my roommate, Amber, opened my eyes to the concept of studying abroad, successfully shifting
my life focus from BMW M5s to cultural journeys and opening of the mind. Following her footsteps, I took off
in Fall 2003 to study abroad in Florence, Italy. Since then, my travel bug has only gotten stronger and stronger, taking
me to places around the globe.
Traveling is an expensive hobby and its biggest rival has been my love of autosports,
and now, motorcycling. I have a love for cooking, eating, drinking wine, music and doing anything that might be considered
indulgent. I love weekend trips to go snowboarding, wakeboarding (once upon a time), and simply 'getting away from
it all'.
