HOMEAROUND THE WORLD 2009PREVIOUS TRAVELSLIFE IN THE BAY AREAINSPIRATIONAL QUOTESABOUT MECONTACT ME

After years of hopping from city to city, country to country, I decided to put a solid job experience on my resume and stay in the Bay Area.  I cringed at the time, hating the thought of staying stagnant.  In the end, I learned that life is never stagnant when one considers all the hobbies that exist and new subjects to learn.  Life is never lonely when you have good friends around to spend time with over a glass of wine.  And most importantly, Life is never boring when you have the mountain roads of Highway 9 and 35 to conquer.

I invite you to walk down memory lane with me as I take a look at the highlights from my Bay Area stay.

Era of the Evolution

On February 14th, 2006, I made a Valentine's Day impulse purchase and brought home a 2003 Mitsubishi Evolution 8.  After starting a new job at a stable corporate company, I figured it would do me well to have a stabilizer and give me a shot of adrenaline from time to time.  A love of driving blossomed into weekends of autocross and track events.  It was a love affair I'll remember, always.

A New Hobby: Motorcycling

BayArea/SuperbikeSchool.jpg

As my motorsport hobby grew more and more expensive, and required me to push my limits further to get an adrenaline rush, I decided to explore another route that I'd pushed to the back of my mind since I was 18: I decided to get my motorcycle license.  It started innocently enough, when I signed up for a MSF (Motorcycle Safety Foundation) class.  Since then, I've been hooked.

Weekend Trips

Two years for me equates numerous weekend trips.  An array of photos seemed to be the best means of capturing all the hiking, snowboarding, and wakeboarding trips, weekend getaways to Half Moon Bay, Disneyland, LA, and more!  As I look back through the photos, I realize that I've been blessed to have had so many great experiences.
